‘Peer-to-peer exchanges for better women’s entrepreneurship support’
(17th-18th October, Brussels – Belgium)
WEgate is organizing a peer-learning study visit to foster networking and learning among peers, focusing on good practices in women’s entrepreneurship (WE) support. It will also enhance advocacy skills by providing insight into the WE policy and related institutions and enable meeting with Brussels-based women entrepreneurs. Finally, the study visit will facilitate identifying the real needs of WE-support organizations, providing a sound basis for forward-thinking support.
The study visit will involve WE organizations from at least 10 European countries, European Union institutions’ policy actors, and the Brussels region’s regional/local authorities. The objective is to enable participating WE organizations to obtain a practical understanding of successful WE-related initiatives implemented by the WE organizations and to enable networking and matchmaking opportunities with peer WE organizations with a shared vision.
The visit will combine online peer exchanges (13th October) and on-site visits (17th & 18th October) in Brussels, Belgium.
